Kalpavriksham Trust, in collaboration with Privaram Cancer Hospital, successfully conducted a Cancer Awareness Talk at the Panchayat Office, Veppampattu, Thiruvallur.The session engaged 11 participants and focused on creating awareness about the importance of mammogram and Pap smear screenings for the early detection and prevention of breast and cervical cancers. The speaker delivered clear, practical insights into the screening procedures, explaining how these simple yet vital tests can help detect cancer at an early and treatable stage. Participants were educated about the benefits of timely screening, the significance of regular health check-ups, and the role of preventive care in protecting women’s health. The interactive session encouraged attendees to adopt proactive health practices, stay informed about available screening options, and spread awareness within their families and community.
